The indicator lights on your SitePoint device show the current operating mode (rover or base) and the connection status. In rover mode, the flashing pattern indicates whether the rover is connected to the base and whether it is in fix. In base mode, the flashing pattern indicates whether the base is acquiring its location or actively broadcasting.
Both rover and base will flash green lights upon start-up sequence.
Rover Mode Lights
Steady white: the unit is in rover mode but is not connected to a device
Fast flashing white (4 times per second): the unit is in rover mode, is connected to a device, but is not in fix
Slow flashing white (1 time per second): the unit is in rover mode, is connected to a device, and is in fix
Base Mode Lights
Note: to enter base mode, turn on the SitePoint (1 press) then double press the power button
Fast flashing purple (4 times per second): the device is in base mode, is acquiring its position, but is not yet broadcasting corrections to the rover
Slow flashing purple (1 time per second): The device is in base mode and is actively broadcasting corrections to the rover.
Pro Tip
To exit base mode, turn the SitePoint off by pressing the power button once
If you press the power button twice while already in base mode (purple lights), the unit will begin acquiring its location again.
